Personally, I'm not all that interested in going. My girl scout troop wants too though. Being the hard-core Disney World lover [i visit WDW twice annually] that I am I would rather get like a 3 day ticket to WDW. It'd be just as expensive as Discovery Cove or less, right? I heard that Discovery Cove was really expensive. How much are one day admission tickets to Discovery Cove?

One-day admission tickets to Discovery Cove are $259 - $279, depending on the time of year...if you want the "swim-with-the-dolphins" experience. Without the dolphin experience, it's $100 less, but why would you go to Discovery Cove and NOT do the dolphin swim?

The first responder is right about the pricing. I will say this, the park was beautiful and my husband and I had a great time there. However, I was a bit disappointed with the dolphin swim. I thought it would be just us swimming with the dolphins for 30 minutes by the way it was explained to us. Nope....it was a group of about 10 of us in the water with the dolphins and the trainers, so in all, we only got to personally interact with the dolphins for about 10 minutes. That being said, I would go back to the park in a heartbeat - even if we didn't swim with the dolphins! The park was beautiful and since they only allow a certain number of guests, it wasn't overly crowded like other parks can be. I highly recommend going!

Swimming with dolphins (which is the main event at Discovery Cove) is different from riding rides and see shows at Disney which is why the different in price is so big. I would go for the Discovery Cove because it is a different expererience for you.
