i dunno, i don`t care what size the celebrities are...in fact i pay very little attention to the whole weight controversy thing...i have friends that get upset with me because they wear a size bigger or something than i do...but i don`t put it in their faces like "haha look what size i wear!!!"...truthfully, i am just lucky that i have a fast matabolism & don`t have to worry about what i eat...i eat what i want, when i want & thank god i don`t have to follow a formal exercise regimen!!! my physical activities consist of walking & going out dancing, which i luv & aren`t boring like some scheduled session at the gym or something...i don`t own a scale & don`t concern myself with numbers as far as my weight goes...the only time i ever know what i weigh is when i visit the doctor...sometimes people don`t realize that a person, even a celebrity, could be naturally skinny...not all celebrities follow dangerous eating, or lack of eating, plans...

One point of them being banned (in which i agree with) is because of the size of them is unhealthy and can possibly be killing them.
I love to see models of size zero and i'll love to be a size 8!!
I don't understand why 'everyone' has a dig at them... i don't think they do, but atleast go up two/ three dress sizes and they'll be back..

Natural ones are fine
but anyone with an eating disorder sends a bad message out and as celebrities, they have an obligation to the public to present positive aspects and not to give a stamp of approval to a health problem like anorexia.
(and ps, just because you are a smaller size does NOT mean you can wear anything...it is just as hard finding something for a size 14 female as a size 0 female, trust me my friend and I have tried it...lucky those in-between ;-) )

It irritates me to hear women wanting to be thin like models, especially young teenage girls. As a psychology student I've studied the effects of such low weight on health and mental function....both deteriorate with decreased weight.
I am a major supporter of banning underweight models from runways and ads as well as essentially forcing actresses and actors to be a certain HEALTHY weight to get a job. The images that are shown today's youth are what is causing the increase in low self esteem and eating disorders we see in today's youth.
American's should GROW UP and do something to help their children. Stop using pencil thin models and sex to advertise and start using healthy, natural looking models and decent moral ideas to advertise!
** Sorry for the length but this is irritating!

I have not stated a opion of these celebritories but I am definately not jealous of them. I have always had a weight problem like them but I am fat and I am sure they like me are not happy being that thin. I would never want to be that thin, They look ill. But if thats what they want then its their lives and I wish them the best I do feel though that in a way they are as unhealthy as me.,

I do not think that it is about being jealous... the main issue is that being a size zero is not healthy since it encourages anorexia. The most important thing is for someone to be within his or her recommended BMI (Body Mass Index) because being either overweight or underweight is not healthy.

I don't think its the issue of it being skinny or a size zero, its more to do with how thats achieved and why does being skinny have to be the norm, why not being plus size? In other cultures being big is beautiful

I can tell you that I am not jealous and I'm about four times heavier than these women.
Is that what you would like your fourteen year old daughter to look like?
Why not just love yourself the way you are, rather than comparing yourself to celebrities (many of whom are totally screwed up) Appreciate the beauty within yourself

I don´t think its right, because, having myself recovered from bulimia, I understand how the ´perfect´figure is pressurised on teenagers and how we are expected to be skinny.
I am now a healthy size 14 and feel better and look better than I ever have.

A lot of young women think they have to look just like them, and try everything they can think of to do just that......including developing eating disorders. Size zero isn't a practical size for anybody.
