my husband and i have our ups and downs. we have and probably will always hurt each other throughout our lives. we're people.
but we have a romance and love that goes so far beyond the pain and trials and keeps us alive and committed.
sometimes we lie in bed wondering if anyone has a marriage like us...
and i wonder...
how many other people lie in bed wondering the very same thing?

You must be a newlywed or not married that long.Wait until you are married for at least 20 and ask that question then.

No, I don't at all, because I know that every relationship is unique, and no one else can know what really goes on with another couple - good or bad.
However, I might HOPE that others have the wonderful marriage and love that we do, over 17 years together.

I know what you are talking about. My hubby and I have been married for 3 years and it just keeps getting better. I always ask myself IS THERE ANYBODY MORE HAPPY RIGHT NOW then me? Even when we fight I still love him. Dont let all the pessimistic attitudes get you down...just think of your beautiful and rare relationship with your hubby!! = }

Well, we don't wonder if anyone has a relationship as good as ours, but we do have a special relationship and commitment that you don't find very often. I do wonder what we do different that others do not.
