It becomes 100 tiny magnets. Cutting a magnet doesn't really affect it much, of course each piece will be a weaker that the original because they are smaller, but the sum of all the pieces will be about equal to the original. Actually the above is an approximation, how the magnet is cut can make a difference, if the cutting involved hight heat or mechanical shock (for some types of magnet) considerable strength may be lost.

By cutting a magnet into pices we are still having smaller magnets. Each magnet will have a north and a south pole.
