Thrift store/second hand is the only way I'll shop. With the exception of bras and underwear, of course. The hunt for more unique clothing is more fun than the overpriced, mass produced identical stuff that can be found at the mall stores. Also, not only are clothes cheaper, but the money is going to a great cause, not Coporate America and questionable practices, like deplorable factory conditions who knows where. Also, I'm giving new life to something that might have otherwise been put to the landfill. (like the stuff I've gotten from trash and Dumpsters.)

Overall, I just like to buy things as cheap as possible and keep them as long as possible. I stick with classic styles so they last even longer.

I just find that second hand shopping (including rummage sales) are just better ecologically, economically, and sociologically.

For the most part, everything I've gotten for my first child, with whom I'm five months pregnant has been second hand. My mother-in-law is happily kinitting some sweaters and a onesie thing that kinda looks like a sleeping bag, but everything else, but the car seat and the matress we'll get for the crib we got from some friends, will be second hand, save for what I get at any baby shower(s) I might have. My mom passed her love of yard sales and trash hunting and other second hand fun to me. I'm going to pass it on to my kids.

It can be a real stress reliever, even if I'm not looking for anything in particular I love just browsing to see what's on the shelves. Plus, when you have a baby on the way thrift stores can be a life saver!

You can find some great deals at thrift stores, but you have to be willing to shop them regularly and you can't go in looking for something in particular because they may not have it.

i like thrift save outfits! i chanced on those ideal shirts and jacket such as those in different costly shops! i do no longer continuously bypass to thrift shops yet I do save extremely some money so i might desire to bypass to the different shops. i do no longer think of u ought to get undies (needless to say) some outfits look used and washed and socks and bras etc. finding out to purchase and saving is the main suitable concern that any woman might desire to elect to get greater clothing and upload-ons!!

I love it too! It's so much fun to search for wearable clothing. I love vintage clothing, especially beaded sweaters from the 1950's. And it's always great to find a nice article of clothing for just a few dollars. Almost as much fun as wearing the item is the actual search for it. The thrill of the hunt! :-)

I notice I'm the only guy to answer this (so far) but, thrift stores rule!!! New suits, retro shirts, dog kennel, baseball glove for the kid, etc....how can you beat it?
P.S. Screw WalMart...shop local & family owned!!!

I love it! Sometimes it can be a bit gross but for the most part I do like it. It's fun just to search around see what you can find. Some places have some great clothes! Just make sure you wash them before you wear them... yuck!

It's great. If you have a good eye for fashion you can find some really nice vintage pieces for very little money.
