Simple truth is lost in the equivocation of teaching (Dante: Paradiso XXIX: 75)

Verbose expressions of searching can be an end in itself, but for me it must be more. The expression of the journey is the means to reaching a destiation on that journey. Though sometimes fewer words are needed. Truth is lovingly poetic, life is truth in all it's beauty. Truth, love and beauty, the plait that is life. Faith, love and hope.

Rather than having "words to live by," I suggest having people to live for, accompanied by a wisdom to LIVE in a wise fashion. Maybe.
