Lol... you asked for no hateful answers, so after 8 hours, one person has answered! Guess everyone's got too much hate to spread.

To answer your question, I'm neither. I don't think people should accept one party's belief system wholesale, and I see too many people who think "well, I love guns, so I have to be a republican" or "well, I don't hate gay people, so I have to be a democrat" or something similar.

I think it's more important to think for yourself. I used to vote republican until I realized that I wasn't thinking - just going along with everything they said, a lot of which I didn't agree with. Since then I've been independent and most years, I vote for candidates from both sides and from third parties as well.

I can probably find things I like and dislike about the stereotypical Republican and Democrat. However, I tend to agree more Republicans so I tend to vote republican.
