Why do people insist on posting questions that are like 2000 characters long??

well, i think the reason they do that is because they are so wrapped up in explaining what they are asking that they think they are talking to someone and forget they are typing. it is very annoying to read a question that is as long as a book, and then there are those stupid people who always put at the end of a long question something like "sorry this is so long" or something like that. it is really really really really annoying. i mean, seriously, no one has a long enough attention span to read more than like two sentences, three maybe, four on the outside, and five sentences tops. occasionally six, maybe seven once in a while. then, there are those people who post those really really really long answers. and usually they say something that could have been said in like three sentences and they just drag and drag and draaaaaaaggggg it out and make it soooo long and boring to read. i just dont understand these people. i sure am glad that i am not that way. thankfully, i always say what i mean and mean what i say-- short and sweet. i always get to the point and then be done with it. well, anyway, i am sure glad you asked this question. thanks, hope i helped

I really hate the posted answers that are over 2000 characters long. Who has time to read all that even if you are really looking for at "true" answer to the question.

I hate that, what's the point of asking a question if you're going to answer it in the 13th sentence? and most of the time it's either filled with "like" or "whatever" and makes hardly any sense. or it's someone that doesn't even have a question, they're just trying to shove their idiotic thoughts down your throat.

Same here. I hate when people post long questions. Its like: how many people are actually going to take the time to read your life story ? This is a place for questions, not " read the book I wrote ".

It depends on my mood. Sometimes I read it all cause you need more info sometimes, but for most questions I don't want to read. If I was asking for advice I would put more info in it.
