My husband has horrible breath. I have tried subtle hints all the way down to flat out telling him SEVERAL times. But apparently he DOES NOT care. He tells me I am being rude and hurting his feelings, but damn...I can't stand to be in the car with him without the window being down. How can I get through to him???

forget subtle hints. this fool needs to be hit in the head with a 2x4. If he whines that his feelings are hurt tell him better you hurt 'em and be honest than everyone else who avoids him because of his landfill-smelling breath and laughs at him behind his back. Especially since they can't face him and laugh at him.
Wear him down. If he takes no rpide in his hygiene tell him. Either he'll get his head out of it or he'll sulk. Either way...no kissing, no sex, no going anywhere WITH HIM until he ses the light.
"Feelings are hurt". What a laugh. She's only trying to be honest with you ya jerk! If your wife can't be truthful to you, who will?

Bad breath can be caused by medical problems if it is that severe. Make an appointment with the dentist first and have him get a good cleaning and check-up. Next make an appointment with his family doctor for a check-up with relation to the bad halitosis (bad breath). Good luck and God Bless.

He probably feels like there is nothing he can do about it. (Assuming he brushes and flosses regularly)

Next time he is at the dentist then have them look into the problem. Also, a lot of bad breath problems are caused by digestion problems not bad oral hygiene, you could ask a doctor about treatment options for that. (Although it may be as simple as adjusting his diet.)

He may have a medical problem. Bad breath can be the sign of stomach problems, or severe sinus infection...rather than being such a B i t c h to him why not talk to him and ask him to please see his doctor because you are concerned that his bad breath might be an indication of something serious.

Has he always been like this?
Anyways kiss him like he likes to be kissed and then tell him in a loving way, not a judgeing way or in a "eww, your breath is disgusting" way, but yes in a loving way, if he wants more of that please brush and rinse with crest to help prevent that foul smell or un pleasent smell., and then kiss him again.

pop a mint in his mint..... He most likely does not floss... That smell comes from food stuck between his teeth.
