Well, there's no cheap way. I'd ask your doctor how to get a simple DNA paternity test. I think it costs about $300-500. If your husband doesn't care, that is a blessing. I'd leave it alone. If you find out he's the father, you will be relieved, but if you find out he's not...then you will have to tell the child at some point. That's embarrassing and very upsetting to the child.

ok your married to the man who is willing to take care of this child.Forget dna tests unless your willing to divorce your present husband and marry the child's father.Or if you are wanting to make a bad life for your kid dragging him back and forth between fathers and the child learns to pick the parent who lets him do what he wants and pits you 3 against one another. You have a good husband, forget the dna tests and forget that he may be another man's kid and you both raise him as if he were you' child together. This isnt something that is beneficial in any way at this point.Unless you are wanting to marry the other guy.I hope this teaches you to keep your panties on.

You have to go to a lawyer and subpoena the other guy to surrender to a test...then if it is found that the other man is biological father you may have to have request that he sign over parental rights so your husband can adopted your child. You'd better hope that IF the other guy is the father he does so...but then if he doesn't you can file for child support from him.

So why do you even want to know? DNA Testing are very espensive and what is the point os not any trouble in your relationship and things happen for a reason. Maybe it's better for your son to grow up knowing that his father and not having any doubts.

Ask your doctor. But under the circumstances a paternity test showing that your husband is NOT your baby's father is pretty useless. Be glad your husband loves the baby as his own. The only reason for testing would be for any medical issues, but again, that would only be useful if you know who IS the baby's biological father.

I would listen to your husband and leave this one alone. Your husband has already said it doesnt matter, so why do the test? A father is the man who raises you, teaches you right from wrong, patches your knee, makes you laugh when nobody else can. You want to know who donated the sperm?? Who cares?

The cheapest way, but not all that reliable is to compare blood types. A child has either their mother or fathers type blood. If the child doesn't have your blood type then you can check to see if it is the same as your husbands or the other man.

I know if you can get a court order to have it done then that would be a cheap way. Other then going to a testing place and talking to them yourself. It might be better and the easiest way unless you're going to go after the father of the child.
