Why do girls try to change guys???

Question

I've chatting with a girl for quite a number of months already. she knows im an apathetic type of guys who never cares much about other ppl. She wants me to send mails to my friends but is not my style so I felt very weird about it. She ask me to send a mail to her but we chat almost everyday so i don't find the need for it. She resorted to tell me to stop chatting with her for 3 day to make me send a mail for her. I dunno why she want to do this and I just can't comprehend it. Please give me some explanation on it. thanks and we are not even a couple.

the problem is i almost know all her friends,regardless of close or not close. in fact some of them i had knew for years already.

I believe we are considered mature because we are both 25. No longer in school and we live in Asian country

It's not about changing you, see I have realized as time has passed women don't want their man to change they just want to feel special (Key word), but since we don't know how to really say it without having a lot of emotions behind it and have the person that we are dating, seeing what ever that it may be run away; we tend to make it seems that we want changes, NO she is trying to tell you "Hon, I want to feel special but in this way, I know you care so can you please mail me so I can read the sweet words that you write to me over and over again..." Sounds stupid, I know hey that woman for you. So just make her feel "special" that's all we ask for, look at the bright side of things at least she it telling you what she wants instead of you trying to finger it out.

The question since the beginning of time. Guys fall in love with girls hoping they will never change, and girls fall in love with guys trying to figure out all the ways to change them into their dream guy. Women manipulate men and they are always using ultimatums. Women like to be in control. I would just let her know that you enjoy chatting with her but do not like playing games. If she wants to wait for you to do something that you are not comfortable with or that you just do not want to do, then she is going to wait along time. First of all, don't IM her or email her at all. Then when she IM's you or emails you, do not respond. Then after a few days, answer her and let her know that you don't appreciate being treated like that. You are who you are and if she does not like you for who you are then she should find someone else. She will think twice before doing that to you again. Stand your ground or she will manipulate you your entire life. Women controlling men is not a pretty site. Not that a man should be controling either. Just decide who you are and determine what you are willing to change, but change to better yourself, never to please someone else.

I don't know, but I have learned that it is sweet. If it wasn't for them being "fixers" I would never be able to get away with drinking, cussing, being lazy, or rude. But I can do all those things and still get laid, cause some chick out there will be dumb enough to just say, "It's okay, I can fix him." Sure it gets annoying from time to time, but trust a DJ, it is definitely sweet.

Just keep doing what you want and sound genuine when you apoligize for not changing fast enough.

Sounds like she wants you to do something you dont want to do.Hmm decisions decisions.Do girls try to change aman?Do fish live in water?Yes.This day and time most women find a guy who is a diamond in the buff..ooops I mean "ruff" and they try to change him into their ideal man by first "sexual prowess" 2 by whining, 3 by nagging,4 by threatening a split up etc and /or having him jailed for spite to bully him into changing INSTEAD of seeing him as he really is and deciding not to get involved with someone who needs so much change yet refuses to do so.This comes from their inability to let go of romantic fantasies and handle reality.So you have a choice to make, do things to make her happy, or tell her where to get off.

this practice is not just isolated to girls, trust me. Most people I've been around turn a deaf ear to what we say or how we portray ourselves and just want what they want. They do it because they are habitually self centered, and self indulgent. Find a different class of people, and you don't run into the issue as much.

Alas...-It's one of the things that a LOT of girls DO. :( Do yourself (& alot of us OTHER guys) a favor; STICK TO YOUR GUNS- & tell your "lady friend" that NO -you don't DO things the way SHE thinks they should be done- You do things the way YOU think they should be done. And if THAT doesn't suit her- then she can find some OTHER guy to manipulate. The choice is hers. Otherwise- she's going to run you ragged testing you to see how much she can "get away with"! :)

Maybe she is testing your writing ability. If you are not a couple why are you worrying about it. She probably thinks you are a couple. Girls don't focus their attention on just one guy if he is not her boyfriend or has the potential to be her boyfriend. If you don't like her requests, tell her and move on. It's as simple as that.

I dont know whats wrong with guys.
if they would just listen to girls the world would be a better place.
guys are always so selfish and want what THEY want.
its their way or the highway.
Its not controlling you, its trying to make you a better person.
guys just always take things the wrong way and think that girls are trying to control them all the time.
