#5: Terminator
Why? Love special effects and makeup and costume. Totally awesome.

This is a hard one for me, because basically, if they're going to outer space or coming from outer space, I like it. Probably Independence Day, Aliens, and the original War of the Worlds. I liked the new one okay, but the original was better.

ALIEN
By far one of the most amazingly crafted horror movies anywhere. Its use of darkness, smoke, an unbelievably grotesque creature, and relaxing you right before the alien puts its tail through someone make it one of the most entertaining movies to watch. I've seen it probably 100 times and I still enjoy it.
Actually I think I'm gonna go watch it again tonight.

close encounters for its realistic approach
star wars for its redefining of sci-fi as something more than just toys on a string
mars attacks cause hell its ends with tom jones singing its not unusual
but dont forget the mini series "V" when i was a kid all my friends wher glued to the tv waiting for the next episode

The whole Alien serious.. not sure why.. perhaps it was because it scared the crap out of me... or the fact that i love sci-fi horror or cause it was one of the first scray movies i saw..
Either way i just love Aliens..
