Carnivores eat meat; herbivores eat plants. Many herbivores eat very tough plant material that is tough to digest, so they have a cecum (a dead-end extension of the small intestine) that acts as a fermentation chamber to help break down the cellulose (plant material). Example: koala bears eat eucalyptus leaves, and have very long cecums.

the shape of their teeth: carnivores develops canine to tear meat while carnivores normally have flat teeth for cutting plants

the structure of the stomach: for carnivore the stomach is simple for herbivores their stomach enables the food to be regurgitated as in the case of carabaos and cows

one thing more but im not so sure about this, carnivors in the long run might have been able to digest cellulose, the hard part of plant cells

hope this anwer satisfies you. thanks
