1. 287 - 7 divided by 7 = 280/7 = 40 dollars each time

2. 22.47 - (7 X 0.21) = 22.47 - 1.47 = 21 for 7 bottles and so each bottle cost him 3 dollars exclusive of tax.

3. 2500 seats have been already sold and 900 are left out. So 3400 tickets need to be sold at an average of 3400 / 5 = 680 per week if the total tickets are to be sold in 5 weeks. In reality, ticket sales will pick up towards the end.

40 bucks
3 bucks
the third one can have 2 answers depending on interpretation,
if you mean how many tickets will have to be sold with five weeks left it's 180
if you mean how many to sell the entire 3400 then it's 680

the confusion arises from your gramme---2500 seats have been sold how many will have to be sold means of the remaining 900 in five weeks
