Maybe I should act like a Bushie and say " I don't recall". But the truth, which a Bushie wouldn't recognize if it bit them in the tush, is I do recall that Tillman's death was used by Dubya to promote his little war.

I remember. he took the opportunity to award him a Silver Star without even though the term "fratricide" was already associated with the application.
Army documents and statements given by witnesses during the Army's investigations indicate top officials already suspected fratricide when Tillman's Silver Star application was crafted. According to the transcript of his statement, Tillman's company commander, Capt. William Saunders acknowledged providing the information needed for Tillman's Silver Star recommendation, stating that before submission, "We became aware that his death was a possible fratricide."
Bush mentioned him in a speech at the White House Correspondents dinner in 2004
Talk about propagandizing death for his own personal gain.

Nope, I don't remember that at all. Do you have any articles or Bush's exact words which "shamelessly used the death of Tillman for his own political gain?"

I do and so did many conservatives. But then they found out Pat Tillman was a liberal who read Noam Chomsky and who believed the Iraq war was a mistake.
