I'm not sure if you bought it last year October or in October of 2001. If it was from 2001 then you probably will have to contact the company for the watch directly. If it has a warranty it still may be good, but you will need to find the information on the warranty and will probably need to have the receipt and things like that.
If you bought it last year you still may be able to contact Disney and get them to send you a new watch. Try contacting them at:
Telephone: 1-(407)-363-6200
Fax: 1-(407)-352-6369
E-mail: wdw.mail.order@disneyworld.com
You may be better off calling them so you can talk to them, rather than trying to get everything taken care of over e-mail. Even if it was from last year, they may not let you replace it this far out. If they do allow it, they will probably require you to scan or fax them a copy of your receipt.
The best thing is going to be to contact Disney first. If anything can be done they are going to be your best bet to start with. I'm not sure if they will be able to help or not, but it is worth a try.
If you aren't able to get it replaced you can go to a jewelry store that specializes in selling watches and a lot of times they have someone that can repair them. There is a store I go to in town, it is owned locally, not one of the big chain names or anything like that and they make, fix, and repair jewlery and also fix and repair watches. It may cost you a little but, if you really want the watch this may be what you have to do.
Good luck!

Contact the downtown Disney store where you bought the watch. They may replace the watch or advise on how to fix the watch. Speak to a manger and be as polite as possible. Tell them how sad you are that the watch is broken. You would be amazed what Disney will do to make you come back and happy.
Of course if you have a warranty, you should contact the service company.
And if nothing above helps, contact the watch company directly. Manufactures will be happy to replace or repair the product.

If you contact Disney Mail Order, you'll get the same people that run the Worlds of Disney Store. I don't know what the policy is specifically concerning THAT watch, but they will be happy to assist you in finding a resolution to your problem.
You can call them at 407-363-6200 or you can email wdw.mail.order@disneyworld.com.

Go to their website and then the Disney store and find out their contact information...You can call or write them and tell them they sold you a bad watch and they should be able to replace it but you would probably have to pay for the shipping but it should still be under warranty since you just recently bought it...good luck

If it isn't a battery issue, most likely if watch was purchased in 2001 than the warrenty has run out unless you purchased an extended warrenty. I would suggest going to a jeweler in your area to see what is wrong with the watch and if it can be fixed. If not, try purchasing another one on eBay.

If you find that you no longer want the watch, list it on Ebay. There are a lot of Disney collectors who will purchase it and spend the mone to have it repaired.

You're best bet it to take it to a local watch repair person. The warranty is probably expired, but you could always try to contact the store directly, maybe if you ship it to them they'll repair it.

If you like it that much, take it to a jewelry store that does watch repairs. If you do not have a warrany that came with the watch you have no other alternative other than throwing it away.

It's a souvenir, you didn't buy it at a jewelry store.
