Everyone says....ohh...He stayed at the grade school after the Nation was under attack on 911 because he didn't want to upset the students. But then he sits and watches thousands suffer and die in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina? Sure.

He's quite a guy, isn't he? Nobody TOLD him to do anything for 911; that's why he sat there like a lump. Nobody TOLD him to do anything for the Katrina victims; once again, a lump.

You liberals are lucky I wasn't the president during Katrina. I would have gladly explained to you that FEMA is not a first responder, that the federal government may not send aid to any state unless that state's governor requests it and I would have explained the logistics of federal aid. What did you want us to do, put all the FEMA people and supplies in the path of the hurricane? They had to be kept well away until the storm was over. After the storm ended it was extremely difficult to get into and out of the storm damaged areas. That is why people have to rely on their local and state governments for the first response. FEMA comes in much later.

Boy I would have torn the reporter a new one if they starting accusing me. The mayor is the first line of defense. He should have used every means to evacuate as many people as possible before the storm hit. (including the 400 plus school buses that ended up under water.) Next, the Governor should have been much quicker to ask for aid and sending in the National Guard.

If you notice, the Cost Guard are first responders but they even were delayed because they had to move their assets out of the area ahead of the storm. Boy I wish they had turned me loose on one of those inane press conferences.

Bush isn't a racist!!! Gosh you cant please each physique these days. Bush did each little thing he might desire to he did lots greater beneficial than the Mayor and Governor of recent Orleans. Bush declared a state of emergency in Louisiana, Alabama, and Mississippi 2 days earlier the typhoon made landfall. The Governor had 2 days to evacuate the human beings. the human beings did no longer elect to pay attention however the Governor ought to of executed a miles better activity. So the placement exchange into his fault no longer Bush's. as quickly as Katrina hit Bush ordered Marines and the national shelter to help discover victims, and as quickly because it exchange into cleared and risk-free he visited the human beings and help convenience them. If Bush exchange right into a racist he does no longer provide a dam. coach your self and don't have faith something relating to the media and an offended rapper Kanye West. Oboma won't be a racist yet he exchange into listening to a Minister who's racist for 2 many years. He might have left the church and long gone to a various one. It would not ought to do with no longer desiring a Black guy for president it is how he supplies himself.

It only takes one look at the Black Cemetery in East Dallas to know Texans don't care what Black people think.

The Texas Hwy Dept bulldozed a road through the Black graveyard and never looked back.

Millions of dollar have been sent to help with the victims of Katrina. It is time to quit blaming the government and anyone else. The people of New Orleans who really care are rebuilding and then you have to ones who want a never ending handout.

Do you not consider that the Mayor of New Orleans did nothing for his people? Why were those buses sitting in the floodwaters, useless? You wanna tell me that? How easy it is to blame Bush because you have no clue as to what is actually going on? Nice to know someone can be your scapegoat. What would actually happen if you people actually got your facts straight? I shudder to think.

Well REALLY ! Did you expect him to say anything before his speech writer had a chance to write something out for him?He also had to prepare his solemn look and voice.Or maybe he was stalling trying to figure out where the Twin Towers were. Can't we cut him a break here?

In the famous words of Ronald Reagan.......There you go again.

The premise of your question is flawed and it isn't even a question. Linking two separate fact patterns and presenting them as a package deal negates any logic and misses the boundary of authentic inquiry.

And why is it even noteworthy to you to bring up the race of the children at the Elementary school, eh?

Actually, this isn't a question but several statements, albeit question marks are inserted. In fact you asked and answered the questions thereby negating the whole premise of YA.

He didn't take 911 seriously, although it ended up being the best thing that could have possibly happened to his Presidency. (He will probably end up wishing he'd left office after one term when people still adored him!)

The "black" part of your question is misplaced. Most of the people who died and many of those displaced were black, too.

Basically he did the same thing in each case... Nothing.
