i grew up on the east coast mostly, and we called it soda. then we moved to the west coast, and everybody called it pop. they would look at me funny when i said soda, but i cant get myself up to calling it pop

I'm in New York and most people call it pop. But my husband spent some time in Texas when he was in the Army and got into the habit of calling it soda. I've picked up the habit in the last couple years too.

Soda, but only 1 hour from where i live they call it Pop instead.
mainly Soda here in Columbus, OH.
