Depends on the type of model. Fashion models don't eat a whole lot and what they do it is low fat, low calorie, low carb, and most likely not very nutritious. The healthier models are are your fitness and plus size (average sized) models.

OK! That really is stupid! Anyway when I was runway modeling my average day was wake up, I had some cereal,juice and maybe some fruit.Not a whole lot but pretty healthy. If I had time for lunch depending on if I was working or not.If I wasn't working,a burger fries.If I was working I would have grapes clear soda or water. You didn't want to eat anything that could be spilled on the clothes or something that was going to stain your teeth.If I was doing a photo shoot you ate very little as to not got that little pooch you get when you just eat something. For dinner whatever I really wanted or what my mom made. I didn't eat alot of junk or sweets I never eat large amounts of food. Its so stupid that people that have no knowledge of the modeling world always think models starve themselves.Sure some mentally unstable ones do but there are quite a few that actually eat and are healthy! Models have to be thin for a reason and that's just the way it is like it or not. I hope that this answer helps some!

They portion their food, like meaure it with measuring cups in small incriments like 1/4, 1/3, and 1/2 cup. They eat almost no carbs and a fair amount of protein. Lots of fruit.

some of them are lucky enough to have a high metabolism, so they can pretty much eat whatever they want...others suffer from eating disorders, anorexia or bulimia, or even a combination of both...then there are still others who eat a carefully balanced low-calorie diet & pair it with exercise to remain at their ideal weight for their work...just depends on the model really...

Well the answer is not alot, but I saw a thing on the tv the other night and one of the diets which she ate nothing only watercress soup.

If they are at their perfect weight, they should eat their weight X 15 calories to maintain.. So if you weigh 100 pounds, you'd eat 1500 calories per day.

most models eat ALOT of salad to give them a healthy figure
and they drink no fizzy drinks only water and milk!!

Ah ha, i know!
Goji berries, minus calories foods! (like celery), plenty of fruit and veg, organic food, lettuce leaves probably that sort of thing.
Oh and if your Kate Moss, you probably smoke and snort to keep your weight down. (Sorry Kate) so often it's a question of what they DON'T eat tbh!
And skinny lattes.
