Adam was lonely and needed a companion. Men are to be the hunter gatherers and women are to be the homemakers. In my learned opinoin the man has the easier role ! A stay at home mom"s job is 24/7 while most men just work 8 or 10.

We were created to be a man's help mate, we are suppose to help, but we have ended up running the show. Also to bear children. He said be fruitful & multiply, men can't do it alone.
If we did not have women the human race would have ended a long time ago.

God brought woman to man, he told Adam, I give you a Woman, she is here to help you, to comfort you and ease your pains, she will cook for you, and clean, she will serve you in every way and will give youre body pleasure. ...
