When we were kids - being broad yorkshire - it would be scone. As an adult i now say skon. I don`t really know why. I think it`s coz nobody really calls them scones any more. Good question !

It all depends which part of the U.K that you are in,where I live it's skon,elsewhere scone,no matter where,they are great with lashings of butter on them!

Scone, It has an e on the end which makes the o pronounced as oh. Without the e it would be scon(skon) Put plenty of butter on mine please....ta.
