Should the troops be brought home starting at the latest October 1? Why or why not???

Yes, they should have been brought home a long time ago when we found out we were fighting a war based on false statements and nontruths. Why should we lose more of our young men and women for a "war" that is being fought unjustly? Why should we risk angering the world more and a worse backlash and worse terrorist action based on people viewing us as emperialistic? We need to leave Iraq before it endangers u country anymore.

It is a matter of what will happen next. If we pull our troops out of Iraq a reactionary Islamic group will sieze power and install a repressive state. Islamic terrorists will now have a safe haven like they once had in Afgahnistan.
We broke Iraq and now we must fix it. If the UN truely believed in human rights and fair government they'd be helping to rebuild the nation in order to help the Iraqis. The Iraqi people deserve peace, pulling out too earlier will only create more chaos. Without US intervention will the Kurds rise up in Turkey and Iraq drawing Turkey into war, what about the Shia Sunni war which would ensue for Iraq.

i believe that the troops should be brought home. they have been over there long enough. I have many friends that are there and family that is leaving to go there in october. i wish they wouldn't have to go there but they do. I want the tropps to come home. all of them.

No. We need to keep the troops there a litt bit longer--another 30 to 100 years or so. Maybe even 200 years.
See, the things is that not enough Americans are being killed or demoralized. The U.S. government needs to destroy SIGNIFICANTLY more Americans so that it can get on with its work (of making the rich richer) without fear of interference from "voters."

the USA's illegal occupation of Iraq is breeding more violence bloodshed. The U.S. is not welcome there now or ever before. The Iraqi's want and need their country back to govern how they see fit and America needs to keep her nose out of everyone elses business
