The most romantic thing is that my husband has claimed to love me since I was 11 yrs. old. Of course, I did not date until I was 16, and he was there, that day, to ask me out. He never dated anyone else. We have been married for 42 years, now, and we like each other, as well as love each other. To me, our entire life has been romantic. He continues to buy me spontaneous gifts, and to take me on 'dates'. Pretty cool for being 62 and 66 yrs. old.

Well, I would have to say that we know we are soulmates.
I mean that we REALLY know it.
We can be sitting, watching TV and just look at each other and immediately smile and say I LOVE YOU at the same instant.
We really are each other's better half.
We know each other inside out, and appreciate each others differences, we compliment each others lives each and every day, just by being in each others lives.
We are in sync with everything.
It's not that sex isn't great, because, he's a Leo and ROAR is it great.
But, beyond that, it's just that we are so spiritually connected. We see into each others eyes and see each others souls.
We recognize each others souls from before we came to this earth. And we are true soulmates, our souls are as one. We actually talk about this fact with each other.
That, is the most romantic thing for us. We bask in each other's light. And it feels like GOD!!
And it will only get more amazing from here.
We have been married for 27 years.
I know the next 27 will melt our souls together for all eternity. And this is the most beautiful, romantic, and loving thing that we could ever hope for.
We are truely soulmates.

Anyone that said "divorce" to this question is so immature and that's why they got a divorce.
In a truthful marriage, the most romantic thing in the world is love of course, but showing how much you love eachother. When they will do anything to make eachother happy.
At the end of the day, when your both in bed that's when the romance comes out the most, of course sexually, but it could be romantic if you both are just watching TV.

The fact that everyday since we have been married, I always look forward to going home and spending time with him. And we still feel like newlyweds. The same fire we had for each other while we were dating and engaged still burns till this very hour. We love to keep things fresh and hot in our marriage and are not afraid to let ourselves go. We still tell each other that we love one another and always love to kiss ( I mean really kiss) and hold hands, cuddle and etc. Everything still feels like it did when we were dating.

Making love the whole night though my marriage gonna be three years by October. Then talking afterwards while holding hands in the dark or hugging each other. And the more it's like that after petty quarrel and talk about it. Also, sharing our thoughts.

The way my hubby knows exactly when I need to be encouraged, hugged, petted or when I just need to hear "I love you" from him. It's more romantic than the most beautiful flowers or most expensive chocolates in the world to me.

Wow... those first few responses are terrible...
I'm getting married in January... I KNOW that I'm not going to deal with garbage like they did...
My guy likes to be romantic, but not ALL the time, otherwise it would just get old.
The way he proposed was VERY romantic...

I've been married for 8 years and seeing my husband perform on stage (he's an actor) is still a huge thrill for me. It may not sound romantic, but I love knowing that I got the best one!

The little things my husband does, like run me a bath when he can tell I need some down time, or like today.....I am sick, so he brought me Sprite, Kleenex, cough drops, Tylenol and breakfast to work to try to help me feel better. Little things like that are so sweet because they don't have to be done...he wants to!
