Through my American DirecTV Dish, I get Center Ice -- Since '96. Using my Canadian StarChoice Dish, I get CTV, CBC, TSN, etc. in HDTV.
I am covered.

Living in Houston NHL Center Ice is about the only way I can see a game. I've had it the past two years and haven't missed a Flames game yet. But i also love watching the Flyers and Islanders, my other two favorite teams.

Nope, I bought Center Ice before the season started. Didn't realize I also had the Sports Package which shows 99% of the games anyway. DOH!!!

I don't buy it because my NY Rangers games are always televised. But next year when I move out of the city, I know I will have to purchase Center Ice package. Can't live without my hockey!!!
P.S. GO RANGERS!!! It's OUR year!

Yes. Nielson ratings tracks programs down to 14 million viewers. The hockey playoffs isn't even listed. More people watched regular season NBA games. More people watched Olympic curling. More people watched Real World Road Rules Challenge. Think about that.

Center Ice? I bought it the past two years. I was a Sharks and Leafs fan living in New York City. Had to have it. I'm back in San Jose now but I'll probably get it next year so I can see my Leafs games.

No, lots of people get it. That is why they offer it.
If they didn't make money on it it would go away.
I moved over the summer and got it for the first time this year. I got more Sens games (all 82) than if I still lived in Ottawa!

No way I buy NHL Center Ice for my husband at the start of the year! Our only complaint is one of the channels always seems blocked, and it's not a local game to us. Other than that we love it.

Nope. I know several people who buy it. I don't buy it because I am an Islanders season ticket subscriber and I'm always at the games and have no time to watch the others. But I do enjoy playoff time where I can watch the west coast teams, but they show that on vs.
