Let me get this correct. You want me or anyone to explain ALL the social and cultural issue for 20 years? Sorry, I don't have 10 or 20 hours to explain some of them. Tell you what...start with the assassination of JFK and then the Civil Rights Act of 1967 and why it was created, then the Vietnam War and how it nearly caused the 2nd American Civil War and then the resignation of President Nixon and the continuing distrust of government to this day because of it. Like many people I lived through all of these and more.....far too many to discuss on Answers effectively.
