I have recently have had two police officer friends of mine gunned down in the line of duty with in the past year one of them just today. These men both had families and lived lives of honor and respect. It seems with everything that is going on in the world today that we as a people would wake up and have some unity, peace and some common sense. My question is what can we do to make this happen, or what do we need to stop doing. Something needs to change.

I'm very sorry to hear about your friends being killed.....I wish the "good ones" would always make it. (my condolences to the family of the friend who died today)
Peace.....peace is a dream, it will never happen.
And it could all be SO easy: if everyone tried to keep the peace around the people they see regularly, and around the ones they encounter on the street, in shops and such, things would be a lot better.
As for politics: if all countries would be satisfied with their borders as they are, and if the wealthy countries would actually DO something to help the poor countries.....peace would come a lot closer.
And last but not least: if everyone respected each others' religion, no "holy" wars would be "necessary".

You must be the change you wish to see in the World.... It begins with each and everyone of us..Whatever you think about is what you become.. Change your thoughts and you change your behavior.. I am sorry for your loss and also for their families.
