This is a theological not a philosophical question, therefore to answer it properly we must have recourse to theology--not natural theology, but Sacred Doctrine.

Your question has two elements: First, how/why is Christ the Son of God? Second, how can Christ be both born of a woman--and therefore have a human nature--and yet also have the divine nature? As a Catholic, I will give you the Catholic teaching on this. Take it for what you will.

First, the second person of the Trinity is properly called the Son, as the First Person is called the Father, for the Second Person of the Trinity proceeds from the Father, and has the same nature as the Father (this nature is not distinct in number but is the same nature as the Father--unlike human generation where a son has the same nature as his father in account but not in number). The relation of the Father to the Word is that of generation but NOT like human generation insofar as the divine nature of the Father is in no way distinct from the divine nature of the Son--it is neither distinct in account or in number, hence one God, three Persons (this is not meant to be a full explanation of Trinitarian doctrine).

In the Incarnation, the Second Person, the Son, assumed a human nature taken from the Virgin. The union of the human and the divine is not in the nature but in the Person: "inasmuch as the Word has a human nature united to Him, which does not belong to His Divine Nature, it follows that the union took place in the Person of the Word, and not in the nature." (Aquinas, Summa Theologiae, Third Part, Q2, A2).

Christ is both God and man, which natures are united in the person of Christ. He is Son of God because he is the Word, the second person of the Trinity, who is generated by the Father and therefore can be called--most fittingly--Son. He is the Son of Man because he took a human nature from the Blessed Virgin Mary, through the human generative process. Per impossible, had Christ been generated by a human father, he would not have been divine.

I hope in some way this clears up the teaching on the Incarnation for you.

Classical Christian theology professes that Jesus is the single instance in which God has taken on a human nature, and through this human nature, has shared in the experiences of a real human life. This is called the Incarnation. The mystery of this revelation is that in the one person (a person is understood as a distinct, ontological subject) of Jesus Christ there co-inhere two natures, one human and one divine. Therefore, the child born of the Virgin Mary is God, who has taken on a human nature. God, takes the substance of this human nature from the Virgin Mary, but in doing so his divine nature is in no way diminished. This is seen by Christians as one of the greatest displays of God's power, that he was able to assume a creaturely nature, and in now way diminish his divine nature. Why did God do this? That is a question that has many answers-- one of which is that it is an act of love-- God shows us in a very concrete way the extent that he will go to love his the humanity he created, even to the point of experiencing suffering and death. All of this is related to what Christians belief about God's essential nature, which is identified as the Trinity. This means that there is one God in whom there are three distinct persons, all of whom share a single, divine nature. Therefore, when Christians speak of Jesus as being the Son of God, they are speaking foremost about an ontological relationship, or a relationship withing the Trinitarian Godhead-- they are not describing a biological relationship, because in terms of the biology of his human nature, Jesus is related only to his human mother.

Because God is A spirit,He is not human so he sent his sons spirit (proving that we are spiritual) to be born through the virgin Mary(to become human)JESUS-He came so that we would have hope,He came to tell us where we came from, who and what we are,so your question yes Jesus was human.that's how awesome god is .Why not a god? we already had god the father creator of all things.why would god the creator create another god? that's why you need to be conscious of where you would like your spirit to spend eternity you are spirit only dwelling in this body for a short time. so when your body(earth suit) stops working where will your spirit go?

This is the best explanation i can find for you- i don't agree with all their teachings but some do really make sense.

1. Jesus lived in heaven as a spirit person before he came to earth. He was God's first creation, and so he is called the "firstborn" Son of God. (Colossians 1:15; Revelation 3:14) Jesus is the only Son that God created by himself. Jehovah used the prehuman Jesus as his "master worker" in creating all other things in heaven and on earth. (Proverbs 8:22-31; Colossians 1:16, 17) God also used him as His chief spokesman. That is why Jesus is called "the Word."—John 1:1-3; Revelation 19:13.

2. God sent His Son to the earth by transferring his life to the womb of Mary. So Jesus did not have a human father. That is why he did not inherit any sin or imperfection. God sent Jesus to earth for three reasons: (1) To teach us the truth about God (John 18:37), (2) to maintain perfect integrity, providing a model for us to follow (1 Peter 2:21), and (3) to sacrifice his life to set us free from sin and death. Why was this needed?—Matthew 20:28.

3. By disobeying God's command, the first man, Adam, committed what the Bible calls "sin." So God sentenced him to death. (Genesis 3:17-19) He no longer measured up to God's standards, so he was not perfect anymore. Slowly he grew old and died. Adam passed on sin to all his children. That is why we also grow old, get sick, and die. How could mankind be saved?—Romans 3:23; 5:12.

4. Jesus was a perfect human just like Adam. Unlike Adam, though, Jesus was perfectly obedient to God under even the greatest test. He could therefore sacrifice his perfect human life to pay for Adam's sin. This is what the Bible refers to as the "ransom." Adam's children could thus be released from condemnation to death. All who put their faith in Jesus can have their sins forgiven and receive everlasting life.—1 Timothy 2:5, 6; John 3:16; Romans 5:18, 19.

5. When on earth Jesus cured the sick, fed the hungry, and calmed storms. He even raised the dead. Why did he perform miracles? (1) He felt pity for people who were suffering, and he wanted to help them. (2) His miracles proved that he was God's Son. (3) They showed what he will do for obedient mankind when he rules as King over the earth.—Matthew 14:14; Mark 2:10-12; John 5:28, 29.

6. Jesus died and was resurrected by God as a spirit creature, and he returned to heaven. (1 Peter 3:18) Since then, God has made him a King. Soon Jesus will remove all wickedness and suffering from this earth.—Psalm 37:9-11; Proverbs 2:21, 22.

The Catholic church teaches that Jesus was both fully divine and fully human. This subject was one of the causes of the Arian heresy, which nearly destoryed the early Christian church. Jesus came to earth and was born a man, but was still God.

Jesus was God made flesh. He had already manifested in numerous ways to mankind, prior to the time of Christ, but as Christ, he came wearing the face humanity would recognize the easiest. That of a human.

Amazing how even when a truth, no matter how profound or miniscule it is, is staring us in the eye, that we will run from it, more times than not. Truths frighten humanity, because they bring to light our flaws; and, us being the vainglorious creatures we are, we find ways to explain the offensive facts away, for our vanity's sake.

The bible says we are created in the image of God.

Jesus had two sets of DNA, his mothers, and God's.

He was born a man to share the human experience and be the last blood sacrifice to atone for the sins of those who connect with him. For thousands of years people all around the world have used sacrifices to ask their concept of God for forgiveness.

God sent part of himself to be the last sacrafice for all mankind.

It comes from the e book of Daniel "There earlier me exchange into one like a son of guy coming with clouds and heaven." Daniel 7:13 Daniel 7:14 rather says "He exchange into given authority, glory and sovereign potential." while Jesus refers back to the "Son of guy" it particularly is probably what he's concerning.
