Sorry folks, I promised myself after my rants yesterday that I'd be better behaved today, but these so called Christian straight people are making me crazy. They are not representative.
Leviticus 25:44 - Tells me I may own both male and female slaves as long as they come from neighboring nations.
Leviticus 19:19 - Instructs us to corporately stone to death farmers who plant two diffenet crops in the same fields as well as anyone who wears cloth made from two kinds of thread (for God's sake beware of blends!!).
And this is the source you want to use to condemn those who are gay? Well, all I can say is you neanderthals have your work cut out for you. You are going to have to take on all of us who stand together demanding equal rights and justice for all. And our numbers are growing!

I can only assume they are using Leviticus and Paul since the Gospels do not quote Christ as having said a word about homosexuality. What frightens me is how easily his teachings on love and caring for the poor are forgotten. Don't even get me started on "Judge not...".

I guess in fairness that I should point out that I'm a 49 year old straight male. I believe that we must all stand together though. As straights and gays certainly but foremost as thinking loving human beings.

Thank you very much. They never will read it properly. Love is the most mentioned word in the bible but you never hear them talking about that.

Hmmm...My bible says leviticus 19:19 says something completely different...
Its says "Ye shall keep my statues. Thou shall not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind. thou shall not sow they field with mingled seed, neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee."
where exactly does someone get stoned?
and if you read it to verse 20 it clearly says "THEY SHALL NOT BE PUT TOO DEATH"

I say we band together..... stand proud and tall, let our voice be head from the buch to the Nelly's...let us come together as the rainbow brother we are.....JOIN ME today is the last day we will defend out life style..!

dont forget, stoning psychics or spirit mediums to death, stoning to death alduterists, stoning to death people who say bad things to their parents.. stoning to death people who work on the sabbath (saturday).
by picking and choosing they are bastardising the religion anyway, so they can't be taken seriously,
ontop of that, sooo many of these bible verses they take can be read in so many different meanings, that it can't logically be seen as being written in stone, not to mention that it's been translated, mis translated, re-translated sooo many times.. and even twisted in particular sect's views and images.
but i've nothing against christians, just the ones that judge me, when their lord tells them not to judge
"dont judge lest you be judged yourself"
"love thy neighbour"
"let he, who is without sin, cast the first stone"(no-one)
"he who hateth his brother is a murderer, he hath no eternal life abiding in him"
rich Pharizee: "thank god that i'm better than other men, i dont kill or steal and i fast twice a week"
poor thief: "God have mercy on me, a sinner"
god favours the thief, for admitting his short-comings, as god later states : "the exalted shall be humbled, and the humble shall be exalted"
and ontop of that, its not all christians either, it's only the few overly zealous ones. i reiterate, don't hate all christians, just the delusional ones.

Yeah, ok. Here we go comparing apples and oranges. Levitical law had a purpose in terms of culture and commerce as well as human behavior. Culture and commerce practices can change but behaviors are static. There was no story of Adam and Steve. There was no story of Mary and Elizabeth conceiving a savior.
Why are you trying to find ways to rationalize something that just isn't there? Today it's G/L/B. What's tomorrow? Animals? Children? C'mon. When IS enough enough??

ANYONE WHO CLAIMS TO BE "CHRISTIAN" AND USES LEVITICUS AGAINST GAYS IS AN EVIL LIAR!!!
Jesus is the NEW CONVENANT! He FREED his followers from the Old Laws!!
ANY Christian who demands anyone else follow Levitical/Mosaic Laws is a TWO-FACED LIAR!

No, you're numbers aren't growing, the fact that you are homosexual precludes your numbers from growing. You are becoming more vocal, like two year olds demanding a toy. Your lifestyle is abhorrent, sick, and shameful. What you are asking for is special rights not equal rights, and what injustice do you suffer from. You are the most affluent group in America bar none and still you whine. You say we have to take you on, OK, when and where.....San Francisco, Key West, Denver...how would you like to take us on, violence or just the same ol psychobabble of how we are supposed to accept your behavior, NO THANKS.
As far as your Bible "sayings", I believe the fate of Sodom and Gomorrah say everything that needs to be said about how God feels about homosexuality. And keep those "thumb downs" coming, I love it......and you can't accept facts.
