Read the small print on your guarantee.
It may be they are within their rights to do that, but will have to give you another TV of similar value.

I have been in management for many years and Have had the same thing happen and in all honesty people are jerks
and will mistreat the displays I personally would not take a display unless I got a huge huge discount .
Sometimes that TV was on display because it may have been dropped or was shipped upside down.
Buyer beware if you keep the TV there may not be a warranty

.
morally yes you should give it back also what if the person who made the mistake gets the sack, you don't say whether the TV was of higher or larger value than the one given.
If you not bothered by morals then yes keep it, inform the shop that the TV was the one you bought in good faith and that the error is down to the store and not you, seek advice from a solicitor.
Be interesting to know the outcome

if its a better tv id keep it!!!! i mean its not ur fault that the store screwed up.... alls that they would be able to do is take youy to small claims court and u know that they would not want to pay for court fees because by the time they pay all of that the tv would be worth nothing to them because its like they are buying it back u know what i mean.... all they will do is file it as a loss and move on...

They could have legal grounds for asking for it back.
If you have a written agreement, which I assume you have ,of the item that you ordered then that is a contract between you both and they can deliver the correct goods and take the wrong one back.
If you refuse you could either be asked to pay any difference in price if the goods cost more or taken to court.
Is it really worth it?

It's their mistake so tough luck on them!
This happened to me when I bought a dvd, video, tv and satellite deal in Curry's. They didn't have the video that was part of the deal in stock at the time so they had to give me a higher value one at no extra charge.
Tell them to **** off!!

i think of the subject is that obsessive faith replaced into in the back of it. you do no longer ought to brainwash those with laser exhibits, you only ought to coach them some dignity. For the checklist, i think that uk faculties could attempt to disuade young ones from being sexually promiscuous rather of only telling them to apply condoms, yet father and mom ought to improve their young toddlers perfect too. it is not in straight forward terms a case of waiting till marriage (some people don't think in marriage and have spent years, loyally, with one companion devoid of having married) in spite of the undeniable fact that this is a case of waiting till you meet somebody which you particularly need to share that with no longer in straight forward terms givving it to the 1st under the impact of alcohol teen that asks. What I disagree with is people being informed that they are going to bypass to hell, that their coronary heart would be ripped to shreds etc. sure, this is real which you're infinitely extra possibly to get an STD and that i admit that the guy's argument (on the documentary) that the HPV (Human papillomavirus) is often threat unfastened isn't real - very virtually all situations of cervical maximum cancers are related to HPV. in case you don't get HPV you will no longer get cervical maximum cancers, hence virgins do no longer ought to have smear checks. there is likewise a hyperlink between the kind of sexual companions and bigger threat of specific cancers. i think of it in all probability is extra appropriate, bodily and emotionally, to attend till you stumble on somebody that extremely, particularly concerns to you yet faith has no longer something to do with it! For the checklist, i'm previous formed too! i'm an athiest, i'm 25 and that i'm nevertheless a virgin, by making use of determination, and that i'll stay so till somebody proves to me that he's certainly well worth it. because of the fact i'm well worth lots extra beneficial than a drunken night out and herpes!
