Limbaugh Feels VT Shooter "Had To Be A Liberal"
Media Matters for America has kept busy since shining the spotlight on Don Imus’ racist and sexist remarks about the Rutgers University women’s basketball team. Now they’ve heard radio Talk host Rush Limbaugh declare that the Virginia Tech killer “had to be a liberal.”According to a transcript Media Matters released of Limbaugh discussing the April 16 Virginia Tech shootings, the conservative Talk host says: "If this Virginia Tech shooter had an ideology, what do you think it was? This guy had to be a liberal. You start railing against the rich and all this other – this guy's a liberal. He was turned into a liberal somewhere along the line. So it's a liberal that committed this act. Now, the drive-bys will read on a website that I'm attacking liberalism by comparing this guy to them. That's exactly what they do every day, ladies and gentlemen. I'm just pointing out a fact. I am making no extrapolation; I'm just pointing it out. They try

– whenever – I can tell you from the history of this program, starting way back in the early '90s, when there was any kind of an incident, crime or what-have-you that attracted national attention, in the early days of this program, the drive-by media went out and they tried to connect the perpetrator to this program. They did everything they could. In fact, it went so far as Bill Clinton blaming me for influencing Timothy McVeigh to blow up the (Oklahoma City federal) building. These are the people sponsoring lies and distortion for the purposes of dividing this country and creating hatred. These are the people that invented this kind of tactic, if you will.”

I think he just isn't a decent human being. However, that said if he had insulted a minority he would be off the air. When is this going to stop. If we are going to have freedom of speech we have to put up with the idiots .Turn them off if you don't want to hear them, let the dollars talk. I thought when he made fun of MIchael J. Fox he was out of line also. Any thinking person isn't going to listen to his bias rants.

this is a topic for lots of the political information happening accessible right this moment. human beings do no longer actuality verify... a rapid seek for the period of the quest engine and in spite of result comes up... every person can edit wikipedia... this is not a competent source... this is not a foul place to start up yet then you certainly ought to study references... Even Glenn Beck admitted to no longer actuality checking because his software is editorial is nature and not journalism or information. each physique keeps speaking approximately eating the kool-help on the two facets; it may help if each physique actuality checked which does take some attempt confident and not basically a rapid and grimy seek engine study. It additionally does no longer harm if we did no longer place self belief in editorialism for archives because of the fact they let us know what we ought to take heed to. bypass get the information and then make some recommended judgements.

Does the mood of the public reflect the media or does the media reflect the mood of the public? Perhaps Rusty Limpbra is a raving lunatic that neither reflects mainstream media nor the opinion of the majority of the public even those of the public he perports to represent.

Rush is the biggest moron on the air....and yet the bigger morons of this country listen and follow his lead.
First off, if anyone listening to him had a thought of thier own, they would question his claim of this guy being a liberal as a "fact". How the hell would Rush know?
McViegh was in fact a registered Republican.
Besides, doesn't Rush scream the "libruls want to take your guns away"? And that "Libruls" are anti-gun?
This idiot talks out both sides of his mouth and the fools that listen to him knod their heads in agreement like sheep rather than having an original thought for themselves.
Those are the people that are the biggest danger to this country.

1. Everything is political.
2. Limbaugh is a big jerk even without this incident.
3. Limbaugh only wants money; being a "conservative" (he's not at all conservative) is merely his game plan for making money.
4. People like Limbaugh sees themselves as beyond good and evil and morality as we know it does not apply to them and therefore they are free to do whatever they like to make money for themselves which is their highest priority in life. They would kill if they thought they could get away with it, but most of the Limbaughs and Coulters in the world see killing and obvious law-breaking as an unnecessary risk (even though it's not "wrong" for them to do it), so they refrain from breaking the law.

He should, but the difference between his apology, and others is that when Imus called the university students "Nappy headed ho's" he was forced to, because they refused to keep playing until he apologized. I mean, if Rush doesn't apologize, what's gonna happen? Is Cho gonna go on strike and not shoot up any more universities?

I heard this. He said it flippantly to point out that there is a double standard.
Many people have blamed conservatives or talk radio for the attack and were not criticized.
You, and Media Matters, proved his point.
