I have been seeing this guy for about 6 months. We said in the beginning that we would just be meeting each other's need because we were not in a relationship. The thing is I don't want to read too much into it and I am not, but based on the opinions of my gf's. When I recently told him I deleted him from my yahoo address book, he was like Oh! I didn't know I was not in it anymore. My gf said it should not matter. He sent me a few IM's a month ago that I did not get & he called me in a panic because he thought I was ignoring him. My gf said it should not matter. The last time we were together he rubbing my hair from front to back as though he was admiring me so I am wondering if any of this means anything. I am asking because this guy is the "only" guy I am with sexually, but I am dating because I want a relationship, and my gf is saying why don't I look at what's in front of me. I told her I never have because of the ground rules of only meeting needs. Do u think he thinking more

It sounds like he is breaking the ground rules. Why don't you just ask him how he feels.

PS: find a gf that can say more than "it should not matter"

It sounds like this guy is interested in alittle more than just friends with benefits. I wouls sit down and talk to him to get a clear view. You can't have a relationship and see the " friend" at the same time. I hope everything works out ok!

It may have started out as one way, and possibly has changed over the 6 mos. Perhaps he's the one you need to be asking. Dont mean to sound harsh, but it seems you're both beating around the bush.

the guy probably likes u but not quite sure coz u don't seem to like him at all. ur gf is tellin u that it doesnt matter coz shes probably jealous or something (no offense)
u should make the decison by urself whether u want this or not. if u really do like the guy, then why not tell him.

The ground rules mean you have no right to be angry at him if he doesn't want a relationship.

They don't forbid the two of you from having one.

Tell him how you feel. Worst case scenario, you re-delete him from your address book :p

So you're having sex with a guy you have no intention of having a relationship with while you are dating other guys? One word comes to mind, but I'll keep that to myself.

And what are your plans if you get pregnant? Just curious because I can't imagine sex is a need. We need food, we need water, we need shelter.... we don't need sex. It's a want.... not a necessity.

I think you need to reevaluate what you really want in life. Take a good look at what you are doing, how you are behaving, how you are so flip about sex and relationships. Understand what needs and wants are.

You've both been using each other for sex. What's your problem now? You agreed to do him as "needed" and that's all you are to him. Rubbing your head meant he wanted sex again.
It's nice (LOL) that you're sleeping with "only" one guy. That says a lot about your self-respect (LOL)

hrmmm ... hard to say with what you're giving us

I will say this ... if when you guys sleep together you only do it at your place, hes not looking for anything more than sex

but if you do it at his place, and you spend the night/spend time there ... he may be open to more
