This is pretty generalized, but I'm going for it:
We have 4 seasons - spring (March - May), summer (June - August), autumn (September - October), winter (November - February).
The temperatures vary with terrain (mountains, deserts) ofcourse.
The southwest is dry with other areas of the country being humid during summer.
Generally, the northern half of the US gets snow during winter whereas the southern states do not. (This is very general because mountains in southern California can get snow along with other southern states, but it doesn't stay on the ground long compared to northern states, where you can have snow 3 - 4 months.)
Rain varies from area to area. Although the weather has been a little weird lately. There can be flooded areas and drought areas. But overall, not a lot of damage occurs.
So, there are a lot of variances, but that's the general idea. Hope this helps. âº
