When you choose a lifestyle that doesn't let you have children naturaly. You sexuality shouldn't help you get a job, and just because you like the same sex shouldnt mean you get the same rights as normal people.

The "way of life"? Are you kidding me?

I live a perfectly normal life, there's no "way of life".

Seriously the only thing different thing is who I love.

And wait, I shouldn't get the same rights as "normal" people? Seriously what the hell, I am a normal person. There's nothing remotely abnormal about me.

The abnormal thing, the total anomaly is the attempt to homogenize everyone into a single white super-race. Nature loves diversity, whoever denies that is unnatural.

I deserve the same rights because I am the same. I didn't choose gay, it's not a decision, I didn't catch gay, it's not a disease. I had no say in it, much like you had no say in your sexuality. So we're no different, just varied.

Get over yourself already. Quit trying to bring us down so that you can feel more moral and thus fuel your low self esteem.

Putting us down doesn't make you a magically better person, it does the opposite. I pity your way of life.

First off, it is not a choice. Who would choose to be treated the way people like you treat people like us. You automatically categorize us as sub-human by believing we shouldn't be allowed equal rights.

Why should we receive equal rights? Because it is the only right that every citizen of this country have the same rights as every other.

We aren't asking for "special" treatment. We are just asking that when it comes to a job, if we are more qualified than the other candidates then we should rightfully get the job. Or, just that our sexual orientation should even be a part of the consideration process.

As for the ability to have children, any mammal can breed. Just because we with our life partners can conceive as a couple, doesn't mean we can't have families. Adoption isn't the only option.

FYI: I am as normal as you are. I'm just not a bigot.

and why shouldnt we get equal rights?
what, exactly, have we ever done to you?
Why shouldnt we get tax breaks, sexuality is NOT i repeat NOT a choice.
And if the child is fine with gay parents, then why shouldnt we be able to adopt, it is the childs and the adopters [ i know there is a more 'appropriate' word for that, can;t think of it right now] buisiness, and not yours.

Being straight is not normal, neither is being gay or bi. It is more common, yes, but not normal. and no, i am not promoting homosexuality or bisexuality, before you say anything, what a stupid thing to think.

It is because of biggots like you why people in this world can;t be happy.

go take an overdose or something, fuck3r.

A right is a right. period. No questions asked. We get them because we've earned them just the same as you. We pay our taxes, we work 9-5 jobs, we give spare change to homeless people, we love, we hate, we breathe, we think, we bleed, we argue, we are all THE SAME. I know it's a scary thought but reach into that brain of yours and pull out the fact that we were all created equally!

Should you not have the right to marry because 50% of straight marriages end in divorce?

And besides, Charlotte Patterson, a professor of psychology at the University of Virginia, states that, “the quality of parenting a child receives is more important than a biological connection or the gender of a parent”

I like everyone else pay tax. i also like eating out, partying and generally having a good time. i didn't choose to like the same sex i just do. like you didn't choose to be straight.
also how many straight people abuse there children through neglect and other things???? so wheres the problem with giving
"GAYS" children. i think you should try a different question as this one covers way to many subjects. if you define normal for me then i will happily concede on my points. but at the moment you just sound like an uneducated person making comments on things you really dont understand.

just because you like the same sex shouldnt mean you get the same rights as normal people.

What is NORMAL?! There is no such thing as normal

Lets get this straight NO ONE CHOOSES THIS SO CALLED "LIFESTYLE" JUST LIKE YOU DIDN'T CHOOSE TO BE STRAGHT. MY SEXUALITY DOES NOT CLOUD MY JUDGEMENT.

were also human beings too. Just because we love differently dosen't mean anything. Our sexuality is a little part of us. And its not like we tatoo it on our heads

Even though I personally don't want to get married that because I marriage is to me is your paying $5,000 dollars on a dress and another $5,000 dollars on a tuxedo. $20,000 on a three hour ceromony to tell all your family and friends that you love each other. And another $30,000 so everyone can see you cut a $5,000 cake and let everyone watch you shove it into each other face but If that floats boat

It has also been scientifically proven that kids who have same sex parents are in fact 100% normal and are less likely to be sexually abused by their parents

SO THE REAL QUESTION IS WHAT IS NORMAL???

The ONLY "way of life" I have is that of a MOTHER and a life partner.

Does that make MY life any different than that of my own mother twenty-some-odd years ago? No.
I didn't choose a LIFESTYLE. There is NO SUCH THING AS A "GAY LIFESTYLE!"
There aren't special gay cars, special gay houses, special gay clothes, special gay food, special gay air, special gay taxes.
These are things that make up a LIFESTYLE!

You say "Your sexuality shouldn't help you get a job." BUT IT DOES!!! YOUR Sexuality does!
Mine only puts my right to work in JEOPARDY in many states!

You say "normal" people as if hating any one group of people is somehow "NORMAL!"
It's not...it's a mental disorder and you really should get it under control...soon!

First off please consider a basic English course before you go any farther in life. It will help you tremendously!

Secondly rights should be equal across the board for every person in America. If that simple basic statement doesn't make sense to you then really you have no human compassion and frankly there is nothing me or anyone else in the world can do to help you understand.

I have been with my same sex partner for 17 years - we DID raise a child together and we are perfectly normal people who live good lives, we are good citizens, good neighbors, good to each other and good to our families and friends.

My sexuality did not help me get any job - my training, experience and education did that for me.

I've chosen a lifestyle that doesn't let me have children normally - I'm a married woman who is surgically sterilized. Are you saying that those of us who are unable to have children, or who choose not to have children, should be denied equal rights as well?

You know what always gets me? The fact that I pay for your child's education. I pay for the bus that takes your child to school. I pay for the wear and tear on the road due to the school bus that takes your child to school, as well as the wear and tear caused by you ferrying your child to soccer games, playdates etc. So why is it that you get the tax breaks while I shoulder the burden of your lifestyle choice of having a child?
