Yes there is go to Start>Accessories>MS Paint, open your image file. At the top there's a menu choose File>Save As> Go to drop down menu>Save as Type>Choose Jpeg>Click Save button.

Most graphics software (like, say, Photoshop or PaintShopPro or Gimp) will through various diddlings convert a .bmp to a .jpg or .gif (or other type) of file. You just need to know how they favor your doing it...

open the program paint. open the bmp file. now save as. save as jpg file :)

it is very simple. open the file then Mspaint and there u will find the option "save as" select that and then choose the extention u like and save.
Or u need to have some photo shope editor or adobe photoshope or any othre photo software for changing it.

If you have a graphic program, then all you have to do is copy the image and paste into the graphic program. Then export as any type you want. Good Luck

open File---->select tools-->click on folder options---->click on view----->there u can get hide/unhide extensions for known file.
Then click on hide extensions(to unhide).and click on apply.
there u can c the extension .jpg for the image.bmp rename it whith .jpg
thats all
