the animal shelter. One of my dutys was to get the dogs that have had been there too long and bring them from the kennel to ths building in the back of the shelter. I would put a leash on them and i would litteraly have to drag them....i think the knew in a dog sense that they were on there last minutes. I couldnt stand it...I love dogs. Anyways, Iafter getting them to the room. This Cruel Lady that Had a heart as cold as ice would put them on this steel table and inject them with something, they would lay there looking at you until there life faded away. So F'ing sad. Then I had to take the dead dogs and fill up these steel drums with about six or seven dead dogs, Cap the drum and set it aside for this company to pick them up.I was told they made fertalizer with the remaines. We also had a freezer for big dogs like great danes. They wouldnt fit in the cans.I quit after a week. I love dogs and I couldnt live with that on my conscience.

OMG I worked in a shoe store too. I mean you work there you to go all through the trouble of measuring shoes, finding shoes and worst of all a stubby old guy or woman comes in you do something for them and they don't even say thank you. Like we're a ring in the swimming pool. Gonna get a good job for me. Was only 16.

I worked in a little mexican convenience store once, and men would come in drunk at all hours of the day and hit on me. plus they didn't have price tags so I had to memorize the price of EVERYTHING in the store. I had to run out of the store once to catch some guy that didn't pay. I quit because the manager accused me of stealing money. worst job ever.

OMG - The WORST EVER -
I worked in a small grocery store in logger/fisherman/ultimate redneck territory, and I sometimes had to sort the empty beer and soda cans & bottles into appropriate bins. Well, guess what guys do with their chew when they spit it out! There is nothing worse than having spit, chew and beer running down your arm just after having it splash back in your face as you gave the can a flip. Eeeeeeeeeeeeewwwww and Ewwwwwwwwww

Cook for a 24hr restaurant which put out about 1000 meals a day. Once you were "fast" enough, they made you work alone. Breakfast was the worst, 300-400 served...on your own! You either got organized and wasted no movement or effort or you failed. They used to regularly fire their waitresses about 6 months short of any tenure or retirement.

When I was 15, I got a job working for a man who bred love birds. He had a large building behind his house where he kept hundreds of them. My job was to clean up after them. You can imagine what the floor looked like and how loud it was in there. In other words, I literally shoved sh*t.
On the upside, the birds were gorgeous.

Charter Bus Driver. Nothing like being 500 miles from home, exhausted-falling asleep at the wheel of a 20 ton bus full of grandparents, or schoolchildren. Your back and neck hurt like crazy.

My first was the worst. I was 18, and I worked in a nursing home as a nurses aide. I saw and experienced things that I will never forget as long as I live. I had nightmares for years afterwards.

Mine was at Professional Career Development Institute, basically we had to do inbound/outbound calls for people who only wanted information and try to get them to enroll in the school right then. I felt like I was cheating people out of their money.
