This all depends on if we win the world series,As i see it,if we win, the yankees will give him a ton of money to stay,,However
if we don't win, the yankees will say we didn't win with him, let's cut him loose!!

I think he realizes he will never get the same $/year deal that he has now.

If he has 5 years and 135 mil left, if he was to opt out, he would be looking for say 10 years/200 mil or so.

I think he doesn't want to be free again when he is 35 or 36 and take what the market offers then.

Yes.

The main thing everyone is forgetting is that Scott Boras$ represents A-Rod. Boras$ would love an opportunity to earn his player more money - and get a commission from it. For those of you that don't think A-Rod does or will listen to Boras$, need I remind you that he signed with the Rangers after leaving Seattle - siting that it was more important for him to play for a winner than accept the largest contract offer.

Yes, but I think he will resign at a ricockiulous amount with the Yanks. Honestly, i think they will be the only team who'll be able to afford what he'll command. What do you think, like 40 mil a year?!

I hope so, Yankees suck. Baseball is boring. I like Madden Football better. I got Madden '05 for Gamecube, and I got to the Super Bowl. But I lost. oh well. see ya dude!!
