old shivering umpires
are they worth keeping in Cricket field?

dilshan & Chamara were subjected to bad poor & silly decissions by these 2 umpires.
THE IRONY IS>the decisions were made by the top 2 umpires-"ICC"the contemporary game-Simon Taufel and the experienced Rudi Koertzen.
What a shame!!

Rudi Koertzen is a reputed international umpire with little or no controversy behind him. You can't rule him out for a single fault . Of course, it is true that sometimes poor umpiring decisions can seal the fate of a match. But, over all , any neutral man will accept the fairness and impartiality of Rudy and the term"old shivering" is somewhat a rude statement !

i dont think so.they should refer more to third umpires
