Shashi, the only reason we fight each other is because we don't respect each other. If we all respected one another, like the golden rule says "do unto others as you would have them do unto you", if we were all treating people well, there would be no hostility. I'm not saying everyone would love one another, but at least there would be no reason to hate. We choose to use differences among us, especially physical differences to alienated those who are different from us, or do not fit our ideal image of what is acceptable. Color is just one excuse people use to be mean to other people. Peace.

True. How we as a race DO treat each other is unfortunately different from how we SHOULD treat each other. I think politics has little to do with what you're talking about though, because this racism has transcended all political societies, regardless of that society. I think it's rooted in human nature and a person's desire to place him/herself above another for whatever reason, and skin color is usually the first thing that a person will choose because it's the easiest to tell the difference. I guess the only way we as a race will make progress is one mind at a time. Take care!

What do you mean by utilising the 1st "human beings"? Do you mean the 1st homo sapiens (our species)? Homo sapiens have been around for no less than a hundred and fifty-2 hundred,000 years. Or do you mean the unique human species? the 1st homo species replaced into homo habilis which lived approximately 2.3 million years in the past. Homo habilis would have been black, or they'd have been lighter yet lined with fur (like chimpanzees). in case you mean the 1st homo sapiens they have been black. The black epidermis progressed while in the previous hominid species misplaced their fur. They necessary the extra desirable risk-free practices that darkish epidermis provides you from the risky photograph voltaic radiation. As human beings migrated out of Africa lighter epidermis shade mutations grow to be common. In areas exterior of African that don't get as plenty sunlight, like Europe, darker epidermis may bring about diet D deficiency. which leads to fertility problems. So basically those mutants with the lighter epidermis genes exceeded on their genes. @ Tzeench, actually "race" IS a organic and organic term. in spite of the undeniable fact that, the transformations between the numerous human "races" are too insignificant to incredibly qualify. @ Witnesso.....wow. merely wow. The concepts is a bad element to waste. merely say no to lack of understanding.

giant world orgy's would solve that problem. except for all the diseases. i don't know where you live(the people replying to this question) but where i live, blacks are the most racist around. i still hang with some of them but the majority of blacks i have met just give me dirty looks. I'm not saying blacks are the only racist people out their. some whites and Asians are too. i don't believe god created us but i do believe we are all the same. we look like our family. if our family has been under the sun for generations then we probably have dark skin. EVOLUTION is what causes races. i don't know were i was taking this, i just needed to say it.

Its called the annihilation of characteristics, where the conscious unknown meets the conscious known, it creates a physical rift, and separation because of the weight of gravity psychological. Imagine looking at a man that you used to hate his kind, or better, an eagle having to live with a mouse. One might just drop dead, memories images, create actual physical barriers in our brains which are manifested in the physical world.

I too am disturbed by the way some people react to color. I get sick of hearing "this black guy, that Iranian..." When i look at someone I like to see them, their true colors. Like Whoopie said "why can't I just be Whoop?"

What? Your not unbiased, you mentioned white skin and a negative aspect of it trying to neutrally promote your own belief in the supremacy of dark skin,
I am white but i think dark skin has more beauty, and i think you like white guys...

I'm with you on this one there is just so many people and you have to admit most of the racism comes from the whites.....not saying that all whites a re but there are more....I say we just need to forget about all that cus later on we will all need to help eachother in one way or another. By the way I am Latina and I get along with every race....I figure if they want to talk to me they I will with them and eveyone else.
