Can a bank freeze my bank accounts and then close them without telling me the reason behind it?

I received a letter informing me the date the accounts will be closing but no reason behind why the accounts would close. Spoke to customer service and people in the bank but no one seems to know why. It's a legit letter and the bank is Bank of America.
