The fastest way is to place an old washcloth over the wax and then use rub a warm iron over the wax. As the wax melts the wash cloth will absorb the wax. Just keep moving the washcloth as wax melts. Works like a charm!
And no if the washcloth is thick enough it won't rune your Iron.

If you can't easily scrape it off, try to heat it.
On a flat surface, place paper towels over the wax and use an iron set on low. --You don't want to burn the paper, just use enough heat to warm the wax beneath it and let the paper towels soak it up.
I'm not sure what to suggest on a curved surface, like the sides of a sink, but if you can warm the wax until it starts to liquify, it should be easy to clean up. Maybe try a hot water bottle as the heat source? --Though I don't know if that would be hot enough.

If the counter suited is a porous suited, this is stained with the wax. even if, i think that the counter suited interior the showering room is the two marble or something else non-porous. you will possibly be able to desire to desire to attempt taking an ice dice, and employing it to the candle wax for approximately 30 seconds or so, then very intently, taking a razor blade and employing gentle tension to the wax with the sting of the blade. this ought to with any luck help the wax to pop ideal off. I actual do wish that this facilitates. good success to you!

Your best bet is to melt it. Take a hair dryer and heat the wax until is it soft enough to wipe it with a paper towel. If you let it get to wet, it will just run and you'll have a bigger mess to clean up. If you can, use something plastic, like a plastic knife or something like that, and chip at it while it is being heated, to avoid a larger mess. Carpe Diem & good luck to you!

Freeze it with an ice cube and chip it off. Oil, vegetable, massage, may remove it...but that takes longer.
