me and my wife got married 6 months back from today. today we r celebrating the day, but i was wondering, would it be rite to call it a 1/2 year anniversarry. or it has any other word. for 6 months celebration?

As far as you both are enjoying you can celebrate everyday and not bother for words, phrases and sentences. Be happy and I wish you both a 1/2 year anniversary. Treat yourself a nice candle light dinner and remember that there is someone praying for your happiness.

Yeah, the very word anniversary means yearly, so it's not an anniversary, it's just one of those sappy things newlyweds tend to do. Really, do you need an excuse to celebrate and have a good time?

Semi-annual for something that happens twice a year. Bi-annual if it's every 2 years... I don't think there's a specific 6 month word, you could adopt "second trimester" but people might look at you funny LOL

well.. i felt pretty ecstatic..i surly would have luv had my hubby made a fuss about it ... but :(
i think its cute ..dont bother .. half millions will say its dumb ..silly ...but it aint .. trust me!
