I personally have no boundaries except perhaps like 25 years younger/15 years older - that's because I have dated everything from 15 years younger to 5 years older and have found that their chronological age is never what got me in in the first place. I have seen plenty of wasted looking 30 year-old women I would not touch with a ten-foot- pole, whereas I've also seen 55-60 year-old women who kept up their appearances who you could not tell in a million years were that old. Talking superficiality, then it would follow that I personally would rather be with the hot 55 instead. Just check it out for yourself sometime. Go to any dating website and see if you can accurately guess the ages. I'll bet you that 10-15% of the time your guess would be wildly off. So what does that say? It says to me that if she is 30 but looks 50, I am outa there if I am shallow, whereas if I think she looks 30 but she's 45, that is a point in her favor if you are superficial, but is not what makes a relationship work in the first place. It is about chemistry, common interests, looks, character, common values, and most importantly the basis of the possible relationship (monogamy vs FWB).
But if you are going to go by looks first, then I would screen by whether she (or in your case he) had let herself go to seed or tried her best (a losing war to be honest); the area where the actual problem arises is if the ages are so far off you cannot connect on issues such as morality, music, fashion, etc. That is the real deal-killer IMO.

I would say that ten years would be the max for me, because any more than that, they're from a totally different generation. I don't want them to be talking about when they were young or, back in the 70's and either I wasn't born yet or I was just a baby. People who are in relationships w/ people too much older just can't relate w/ one another as well, in my opinion.

I dated a man 16 years my senior and looooved it! I was 23 and he was hot! Older men are well grounded, have a stable job, nice car, nice house (the ones I knew). I ended up marrying my husband who's 10 years older than me and has worked out perfectly! I reccomend it!

in my view, no. i does no longer date a guy 25 years youthful than myself. As for young women flirting with you, i think of they discover you ideal like your youthful woman chum or discover you ideal because you're taken (?). in case you and that somebody specific or basically share a definite pastime, issues can artwork out exceptionally lots. You and he or she will study and attempt issues which you will in many situations no longer do in case you weren't relationship. So issues can artwork out particularly properly.
