I answered the following question yesterday: "Why Is Rove such a cry baby?"

Below is my answer. How was this in any way offensive? Why do people get answers deleted just because they don't agree with your answer?

don't know, as your statement is so general, it is currently impossible to answer. Does he cry when he gets an injury? I don't know him, do you? Does he cry when his favorite sports team loses? Again, I, nor you know him. Are you talking about a stance he might have on a political issue? Well then the intelligent thing to do on your part is to state the issue, his reaction, the context in which it happened, and how it was reported. Therefore the rest of us can attempt to answer your ridiculously unnecessary question.

Same reason several of mine have been deleted. You answered a stupid question with a comment directed at the asker, who promptly reported you to the Yahoo police.

Rather ironic given the fact that the person asked about someone being a cry baby.

Lately Ive been hit with a couple of violations of 'community rules' myself. I don't think Yahoo is really checking before they say you are in violation. Someone reports abuse (real or unreal) and it's automatic. YOU are in violation.

I don't use profanity, or use names like Demoncrats or Repukelicans. In general I try to be civil. But like you I do tend to hammer the exaggerators (on both sides by the way). But still I'm civil about it.

I know what it is! You used the word ridiculious and I used the word stupid. It's not politically correct to point out the obvious nature of a question. You have to be gentle with liberals. They feelings are so sensitive.

I got a violation for saying that the questioner had indicated his IQ level by his inability to spell or use spell check. This stuff happens sometimes.

To get past the "not an answer" requirement, I usually give a yes, no, i don't know , which are all valid answers.

And i try to make my insults at a level where th questioner won't get it, which is sometimes too easy.

I got tagged because I answered a question that I really couldn't understand with please ask again in English. The language the question was written in was not English. I don't know what it was but it was not English. Oh well, we all get tagged once in awhile. It keeps things interesting.

The only thing I can think of is you have questions in your answer. YA for some reason has a problem when you answer a question with a question, even if sometimes it's very appropriate to do so.
Your answer was actually a pretty good answer to the type of silly questions that permeate this board.

Because saying that you don't know and that answer is unanswerable is not an answer.

If you have no clue as to how to answer the question, you move on to a question that your mental capabilities will allow you to answer.

Like most of you behind closed doors, it goes both ways.

Expect that answers will get reported. I never realized so many babies were interested in politics, but apparently it's a hot topic with infants.

If I don't get at least one thing reported per day, it just doesn't feel complete.

lets favor to ascertain both the question and answer. placed up the e-mail you obtain with a purpose to ascertain the precise context. the most possibly reason you obtain a contravention is that your answer did not instantly answer the question that replaced into posed. even as think about been extra commenting on the question, no longer answering it.

The ABUSIVE report function is used as retaliation by some members here. Ask Yahoo, there is a function to report abuse and you are being black balled for answering a question.

I too have had similarly toned responses deleted. Apparently when you call idiotic questions idiotic, you get called for a violation and your response deleted.....but the @sshole who posted the question gets to keep the question.

It is really starting to aggravate the be-jesus out of me. However, I have found that carefully chosen sarcasm generally withstands.

What can I say? I gotta be me......
