1) Use the Print Screen key or a third-party capture program to capture the image.
2) Paste the capture into Paint or another graphics editing program.
3) Crop the image down to the part you want to emphasize (optional, do this only if you want to)
4) Save the image to your hard drive as a JPEG file.
5) In PowerPoint, import the JPEG with your screencap into a blank slide.

Either Shift and PrtSc or Ctrl and PrtSc (depending on computer model) then Ctrl and V when in PowerPoint

Go to Insert and then Object. You will have a list of things that you can insert. Choose Excel and to your right you will see (display as icon).
