Will more gruesome tragedies continue to happen daily in America?

Unfortunately yes. This country has some serious society issues. We acccept eveything that happens. We don't all stand up for what we really believe in and we let our lawmakers push us around. There is nothing moral left of this country. Parents are scrutinized for cracking down on their kids. We allow gays to roam openly and freely infront of our children yet we say marriage should be between a man and a woman. Our children are in so many activities because we either think they are the next Babe Ruth or we have to keep up with the Joneses that no one sits down to dinner with their family anymore except me. Technology is so out of control that our kids need things just to keep up. Kids don't build forts outside anymore they think the answer to boredom is playstation. They don't have to use their brains anymore because they have calculators. Britannica Encyclopedias are a thing of the past, we have the internet. Crime is high here. We cancelled our mental wards in the 70's because they were deemed inhumane, and now look at the nuts running all over this country on shooting rampages. Drugs and alcohol are used freely. Not as a social matter anymore. Television is proposterous anymore. Which is worse, the media, or regular TV? What are the boundaries on what you can air on TV for all of the world to see? We don't properly punish our criminals. We either slap them on the hand of give them the death penalty, and then they have 20 years to suck up our tax dollars on appeals. Some states still don't have Jessicas law to protect our kids because they don't like the language! We should have life imprisonment for sex offenders to keep them away from all children to keep them safe. This countries priorities are backwards and until it gets straighted out I'm afraid tradgedies will continue.

Yes. Many of them may be terrorist motivated. We can not assume that all terrorists are Muslim any more than we can assume all Muslims are terrorists. Hate is hate and hate for the US and our way of life is rampant in the world (probably caused mostly by greed and jealousy)

The solution is to fight terrorism at the personal level. Report to police activities that seem to be terrorist immediately. Fear and not wanting to be involved is what will get you blown up by the terrorists not reporting them.

Bad things happen every day, and will probably continue. But remember that good things happen also, we just don't hear about them like we do the bad.
