We are all on the same road, but everyone calls it something else and think it looks different, just like the parable of the three blind men and an elephant. Each man had a different idea of what the elephant was because they were feeling different parts of the elephant. It's all the same thing, we (religions) are just getting bent outta shape about what to call it...we are too busy looking at the words we use to define it that we miss the truth of the thing. It isn't that anyone needs to be saved, it is that people suffer by not knowing the truth of how things are and how they should behave in regards to that truth. My 2 cents anyway.

No, we are not all taking the same road to salvation. Some of us prefer the scenic route, some the fast lane, or others prefer the road less traveled. I don't think it matters so much whether we are on the same road or not but that we arrive at the right destination. We often all need to be saved from ourselves.

Great question, Enki.

No, we're not.
Nothing, we all travel life's path, some opt for the boulevard, some the freeway and others take the less traveled path, but we all arrive at the same destination having seen different sights. And some a bit worse for the wear. But we all have to make the journey none the less.

No, we are all on different paths to the same end. Not salvation but knowledge of oneness with all. There is nothing to be saved from but ourselves.

Nope. I don't need to be saved.
I'm taking the road to Peace and Enlightenment - it is much more scenic and less volatile then the Road to Salvation - which packed with do-gooder, and preachers, and fundamentalists.

No. Those who believe themselves to be on it will never truly reach it but settle for anything they think looks like it. Those who do not believe in it are already there, from moment to moment. For those who can see, it is an ever-moving destination, always at our feet. Only death can save us from life, and I don't see that as salvation.

The Salvation Army is a cruel bunch of people!

All any of us need to do is claim God's love and Jesus' sacrifice. The blood has washed us and we stand before Him as white as snow.
Keeping with your road scenario, scripture says that one road leads to salvation. Jesus said "I am the way.... no one comes to the Father but by Me." (the Father= Heaven, by the way)

Hey, I didn't make the rules!

WE need to be saved from other people who think that they were put on this earth of go around "saving" us, when the truth is; they are looking for new members for their so-called churches AND/OR looking for "donations" to their so-called churches.

That means YOU!! Jehova's Witnesses!!
