All of these come from Greek mythology, unless otherwise stated.
If female:
"Polyhymnia," muse of epic poetry, shortens nicely to "Polly."
"Aurora," goddess of the dawn. The name of "Sleeping Beauty" from the Disney movie, which could be good or bad.
"Thalia," muse of comedy/one of the Graces, goddesses of beauty.
"Chloe," one of the names of Demeter, harvest goddess.
"Chloris," goddess of flowers, shortens nicely to "Chloe."
"Flora," the Roman name for "Chloris."
"Hemera," personification of Day.
"Thalassa," personification of the Sea. (One of the personifications.)
"Irene," Goddess of peace, and one of the Horae, who ruled justice and the seasons.
"Iris," Messenger goddess of the rainbow.
"Maia," a nymph who was Hermes' mother, and was a Pleiade, star-nymph.
"Melissa," an epithet of the moon-goddesses.
"Rhea," Zeus' mother, and pretty cool.
"Atalanta," an awesome heroine. She beat lots of men in a race, and was the first to wound the Calydonian boar.
If male:
"Deucalion," a wise man who was very faithful to the gods. It could be shortened to either "Duke" or "Cal."
"Vulcan," the nicest god on Olympus, god of blacksmithing.
"Jason," the leader of the Argonauts, who included most of the heroes you've heard of, who were "before the Trojan war" including Hercules, Orpheus, etc.
"Castor," one of the Dioscouri, sons of Zeus. They were famous, and did good stuff.
"Hector" is the most famous, and most kind, of the Trojan heroes in the Iliad.
"Cadmus," founder of Thebes, who had to kill a dragon and plant a field with its teeth, and then fight off the warriors that sprang up.
"Philemon" was a very nice, pious old man, who had two wishes granted by Jupiter for his hospitality. Shortens to "Phil."
"Meleager" was the man who killed the Calydonian boar and gave its skin to Atalanta. Shortens to "Mel."
"Adonis," a man so handsome the goddess of beauty fell in love with him. Shortens to "Don."

I too am pagan and my daughter is also. Her first baby is named Tavan Rhiamon which is native american and welsh and means white raven witch. We shy away from the god/dess names out of respect for the lord and lady. She is currently pregnuant and the name will be Gwendolyn Vladamira for a girl and Orlando Alexandru for a boy both names taken from the nationality of the child.

I was going to suggest Persephone, but I see its already been suggested, so how about
Girl: Anann (Irish); Arianna (instead of Arianrhod, Welsh); Branwen (Manx/Welsh); Brighid, Brigid, Brigit (Irish); Mari (Basque); Maya (Hindu or Indian Buddhist); Sophia (Gnostic).
Boy: Bran (Manx/Welsh); Dylan (Welsh sea God); Lugh (Irish); Taliesin (Welsh);
There aren't that many Male God names that won't end up getting your son's a ss kicked in school, those are the best I could come up with.
I hope this help, congrats on the baby.

I like Cerridwen, it has a nice sound to me. I used to know a guy named Horus, I always thought that was a cool name. . . . Freya is nice too. Jason or Orion, although those are not Gods it's still a mythological hero. Um. . . . That's all I can really think of.

Girls: Eire (pronounced Aira), Cerridwen, Brigit, Morrigan, Danna, Iris, Artemis
Boys: Lugh, Loki, Apollo, Ares (though I wouldn't recommend naming your son after the god of war), that's all that I can think of at the moment

for a girl: Athena, Demeter, Persephone, Dianna, Selene,
For a boy, not any god names, imagine your kid being named pan or ares, they would laugh at him and he would secretly hate u, give him a normal name like julian, matthew, peter, paul, john simon, james, how about ADAM, first man on earth, he has something in common with neil armstrong, or even jeremiah, that names good, they are disciples of god, how about ruth or rachel or opal for ur daughter, name him after a gem or something, maybe a fairy tale? Leon, Gabriel, Andrew, Michael, some one famous, Brad, Leonardo, James(franco), Chris(tucker&rock), Tyrese, Jason(X-just kidding), matt(leblanc),owen(wilson), Roger(federer). u know, something normal!
