No not for me anyway. Especially where past loves are concerned. Some I haven't seen for 35 years and the old feelings and memories of them still come into my mind regularly.

It can work both ways sometimes out of sight makes you think of the person even more.... and out of sight you begin to forget them it all depends on how the person is affected.
