Lots of bits of London will stick with me as long as I still have memory...
1978: Dunkin Donuts, Ludgate Circus, 3am.
Dazed celebration having finished degree coursework, due in that same morning.
A meal of all three essential food groups
(coffee, sugar, fat) in order to stay awake long enough to hand it in.

More historic: the Baltic Exchange, St Mary Axe.
I was an usher at a wedding at St Helen's Bishopsgate, which had the reception there.
It's not there now as the IRA bombed it in 1992. They didn't miss me by much.
Instead of restoring it, "The Gherkin" was built.

Madame Tussaud's. I did the entire thing and really enjoyed the House of Horrors. It was on my very first trip to London and my sister took me there. I held on to her hand all the time. People just kept blowing into my ears from the darkness and one lady, that I thought was just a wax, held on to my feet. I screamed but it was sooo much fun. Would like to do it again some time. Thanks for asking - brought back lots of fond memories.

I will never forget the first time I rode the escalator down into the pit of Victoria station. Down and down and down. That was cool. Oh, and it took days to find out what 'busking' was.

The bathroom at my sister-in-laws house. I was so nervous about meeting my new in-laws that I got drunk and spent the end of the evening vomiting there.
