Would you buy meat from Walmart?

NO....NO......NO!!!!
Their meat is terrible.
First, you should know that they get their meat from, well, whereever is cheapest.
And some of the meat sits for weeks before being put out for sale. In most cases, the meat is all dipped in red food dye to make it all look "healthier" and more uniform. Haven't you noticed all their "red" meats all look the same.
Look at it next time you go to Walmart. You will notice this.
The meat can be old, and it comes from all over. Even from overseas. None of it is local meat.
And most of it is loaded with preservatives, hormones, antibiotics etc. And lots of red food dye.
Buy your meat from a local butcher. The meat will be alot safer, and taste better and will be local meat that is fresh.
But, don't buy your meat from Walmart.
Be afraid, be very afraid.

I haven't ever bought any meat from Wal Mart, but mostly because my husband gets most of our meat for free from his job.

People buy all the time.
In fact I have never seen it move so fast in any other store.
Also at SAM'S I have seen them distribute the cooked food at the end of the day.

As a former Wal-Mart employee, I must say no. I would suggest Costco, Kroger, or HEB.

actually their meat is fresher...its packed in a room of oxygen and sealed that way.
